My Artist Statement

In this portfolio you will be seeing some of my creations I have successfully done through out the whole year that I was in digital photograph. You will experience something like no other your eyes will be dazzled your minds flip. An online portfolio is similar to a book but its online book it’s a place I can put all my work I have done in the year.

How do I feel about my portfolio? I feel that I have done a good job with all of my projects I know I could have done better on some of them but hey what can I say I did my best. I might have missed a few projects here and there but I made up the ones I could. My portfolio is well organized and everything is in the correct order it’s supposed to be in and I feel strongly about my portfolio. Overall I know that I did a great job even some of my class mates say so but I’m good with the outcome.

My favorite thing about this class would have to be that I had the chance to work with some great people my partner that helped me do and create all my photos his name is Sergio Gonzalez. He has helped me put and take all my photos together and at time would give me some ideas on what I could and couldn’t do with them and he would give me the honest truth. If I had to pick a tool I liked it would have to be the Band-Aid tool because it lets you fixed the picture how you want it you can take pimples away and make it look as if nothing is there.

My favorite photo would probably be Si Se Puede guide because I actually used my own creation and I had a fun time working with this and I used my imagination. I used tools I had never used before and I know that it was a very good creation and it was my first time doing something like this. I wished it would have won but I know in my mind that it was first place. The thing I struggled with the most would have to be the abilities to learn all the tools and their powers behind them.

In the future I know that I will learn a lot more such as knowing that I have to pay attention in class instead of goofing off and actually listen on how to use the tools. My biggest influences would have to be my Dad and Ms. Cook because there the ones who told me I was doing a great job and to keep up the good work and also that I could do better every time and I cant forget about my friends they always say good job and tell me it looks good so thank you guys for saying things like that to me. The thing I know that I improved on would have to be towards the end using my tools for our last project and seeing how they turned out I liked the outcome of my last project wish I had more time here but we shall move on.

Senior class of “09” we did it…..

Metaphor

“LiKe aN oLd BeAteN uP BaSeBaLl”

My reason for choosing this one is in all reality you are a baseball when you thing about. A baseball gets thrown around hit it may have scraps and burses and when you look at a ball you think wow what has this ball been through. I myself am like a baseball I have been through a lot I have has scraps hit and many other things a baseball goes through in life. I see myself as a baseball just because I love baseball and that’s my passion. I can play all night and all day. A baseball is just like a human but shows no feelings because it can’t talk. That was my reason for doing my metaphor on a baseball.

The best thing about this one is that I made myself look like an actual baseball that was on the ground being picked up. The thing I know I could have done better is mess around with my levels and smoothen my edges. The thing I had a problem with would be having to put my face on the ball and making sure is would fit properly. I feel I did great even thought I know I could have done 100 percent better. I feel good about our last project of the year.
